Khenpo Appey Timeline
- 1927: Born at Kusé, Dergé
- 1936: Enters Serjong Monastery
- 1945: Goes to Dzongsar Monastery
- 1952: At age 25, receives full ordination, becomes abbot at Serjong
- 1957: Travels to Ngor Monastery, first visit to Sikkim
- 1959: Travels to Sikkim again
- 1964: Becomes tutor to Sakya Trizin
- 1971: Founds Sakya College
- 1986: Retires from Sakya College and moves to Kathmandu
- 2001: Founds IBA in Kathmandu
- 2010: Parinirvana in Kathmandu
