Four male gatekeepers 護門四王

The four male gatekeepers (Wyl. sgo ba yab bzhi), who are counted among the forty-two peaceful deities, are:

1. Achala 不動明王, guarding the east gate (or Vijaya, or Mahabala?) （或說尊勝明王、大力明王），守護東門
2. Yamantaka 文殊閻摩敵, guarding the south gate 閻魔敵明王，守護南門
3. Hayagriva 馬頭明王, guarding the west gate ，守護西門
4. Amṛtakuṇḍalī 甘露漩明王, guarding the north gate ，守護北門
