The Eight Holy Places (Wyl. gnas chen brgyad; Skt. aṣṭhamahāsthāna) are the eight most important places related to life of the Buddha. They are,
- 藍毗尼Lumbini garden, Kapilavastu
- 菩提伽耶Bodhgaya
- 鹿野苑Sarnath, Deer Park
- 祇園精舍Jetavana, 舍衛城Shravasti
- 桑伽施Sankisa
- 王舍城Rajagriha
