Tenga Incarnation Line — the successive incarnations of Gönkhen Samten, which are closely linked to the Sangyé Nyenpa Rinpoches and to Benchen Monastery
- Gönkhen Samten—a student of the Seventh Sangyé Nyenpa Rinpoche
- Karma Tenzin Chögyal—a student of the Eighth Sangyé Nyenpa Rinpoche; he did two successive three-year retreats at Tsadra Rinchen Drak under the guidance of Jamgön Kongtrul Lodrö Thayé
- Karma Tenzin Trinlé Pal Sangpo, the present day Tenga Rinpoche (b.1932)
