The nine actions of the three doors (Wyl. bya ba dgu phrugs) are mentioned in the Dzogchen teachings. They are all outer, inner, and secret activities of body, speech, and mind.
九種事、九作業 nine kinds of activity(藏bya ba dgu sprugs,字意:斷盡九種行為):包括(1)身之外在行止,如行、坐、動;(2)身之內在行止,如禮拜及繞行;(3)身之祕密行止,如法會舞蹈、手印;(4)語之外在行止,如各種虛妄的閒談;(5)語之內在行止,如念誦儀軌;(6)語之秘密行止,如持誦個人本尊的咒語;(7)意之外在行止,如五毒和三毒所引起的想法;(8)意之內在行止,如修心及培養善念;以及(9)意之秘密行止,如安住於世間禪修的狀態。以上出自"Heart of the Great Perfection"的詞彙解釋。
- Three concern the body:
- outwardly, all worldly, distracting activities,
- inwardly, all ordinary virtuous deeds such as prostrations and circumambulations, and
- secretly, all unnecessary movements that scatter one‘s practice.
- Three concern speech:
- outwardly, all worldly, deluded conversations,
- inwardly, all liturgies and recitations, and
- secretly, any talking whatsoever.
- Three concern the mind:
- outwardly, all worldly, deluded thoughts,
- inwardly, all mental activity focused on visualizations of the development and the completion stages, and
- secretly, all movements of the mind.
