Jamyang Khyentse revealed the terma of Chimé Pakmé Nyingtik at his seat [[Dzongsar Monastery|Dzongsar Tashi Lhatse]] in a vision of the three masters who attained the level of [[vidyadhara with power over life]]: [[Guru Rinpoche]], [[Vimalamitra]] and [[Shri Singha]].
  
Examine anger itself and you will find that it is nothing but a thought. If that angry thought disappears, it will not lead to an action done in anger, with its negative karmic results. Trample on anger with realization, and it dissolves like a cloud in the sky; and as it dissolves, the notion of “enemy” will vanish with it.

Through its power and blessings, many masters, including the great [[Jamgön Kongtrul]], have been able to remove obstacles. In fact, according to prophecies, the life of Jamgön Kongtrul would have had many obstacles, and he would not have lived very long, but for this practice of Chimé Pakmé Nyingtik.

The highly respected master [[Jamyang Khyentsé Chökyi Lodrö]], in his biography, said that he received this transmission about ten times, and  held this as his most important practice. It was also the main heart practice of [[Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche]], who completed all the required practices seven times in retreat. More recently, one of the main holders of this practice was [[Kyabjé Trulshik Rinpoche]], who every year spent at least a month in retreat practising Chimé Pakmé Nyingtik at [[Maratika cave]] in Nepal, the place where [[Guru Rinpoche]] accomplished the level of a [[vidyadhara with power over life]].

Simply the Mind Itself ~ Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche
 
 
 
When looking into the nature of mind, don’t expect to gain some exceptionally high or profound realization, or to see anything new. Nor should you hesitate or doubt your ability to meditate. Just trust that the nature of mind is simply the mind itself left in an unaltered state, and do all that you can to sustain this, without distraction, at all times, during and between the meditation sessions. Don’t expect to gain realization in just a few months, or even years. Whether you develop any of the qualities that come from the practice or not, remain steadfastly determined and resolve to continue the practice with diligence, day and night, throughout this life, future lives and the bardo state.<br />

念頭於空性中顯現而消融,就如臉孔於鏡子裡出現又消失;鏡中從來就沒有臉孔,當鏡像不再反射時,臉孔並非真的就此不存在。鏡子本身從未改變。因此,尚未踏入修道前,我們處於所謂輪迴的「不淨」狀態,而它表面上看來是由無明所主宰。當我們投入修道時,穿越的是一種無明和智慧交雜的狀態。到了最終證悟的那一刻,則只有清淨的智慧存在。但修道的這一路走來,儘管出現了轉化,自心本性卻從未改變:它不因入道而損、不因了悟而增。·
 
 
 
Thoughts manifest themselves within emptiness and are reabsorbed into it like a face appears and disappears in a mirror; the face has never been in the mirror, and when it ceases to be reflected in it, it has not really ceased to exist. The mirror itself has never changed. So, before departing on the spiritual path, we remain in the so-called "impure" state of samsara, which is, in appearance, governed by ignorance. When we commit ourselves to that path, we cross a state where ignorance and wisdom are mixed. At the end, at the moment of Enlightenment, only pure wisdom exists. But all the way along this spiritual journey, although there is an appearance of transformation, the nature of the mind has never changed: it was not corrupted on entry onto the path, and it was not improved at the time of realization.

密咒寧瑪派的生起次第觀修,是以三種三摩地來修持。在修三三摩地時,首先為真如定,它與空性的自性有關。如同我之前所說,器世間、情世間與種種情緒,其基礎都是空性。以色(身相)的自性來說:若無佛的法身,就不會有報身或化身。若有佛的法身-清淨無染、不可思議之法界,當不可思議之佛陀功德聚集時,報身即從法界顯現。當報身之悲心為利有情眾生而觸動時,化身便會顯現。由此,真如定從空性而來,而空性即為法身。

“In the Nyingma tradition of the secret mantra, the meditation of the development stage is practiced by means of the three samadhis. When meditating on the three samadhis, one starts with the samadhi of suchness. The samadhi of suchness is of the nature of emptiness. As I said before, the universe, its contents, and the emotions are all based on emptiness. To explain the nature of form: if there is no dharmakaya of the buddha, there is no sambhogakaya or nirmanakaya. If the dharmakaya of the buddha, the stainless inconceivable dharmadhatu, is there, when the inconceivable buddha qualities are gathered, the sambhogakaya manifests from that dharmadhatu. When the compassion of the sambhogakaya is moved for the sake of sentient beings, the nirmanakaya manifests. In that way, suchness samadhi comes from emptiness, the dharmakaya.”

Chimé Pakmé Nyingtik thangka which was Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo's practice support

Chimé Pakmé Nyingtik (Tib. འཆི་མེད་འཕགས་མའི་སྙིང་ཐིག་, Wyl. ‘chi med ‘phags ma'i snying thig; Eng. 'The Heart Essence of the Sublime Lady of Immortality') is a long life practice discovered as mind terma by Jamyang Khyentsé Wangpo in 1855. It features a mandala of White Tara (in the form of White Tara Wishfulfilling Wheel) in union with the Lord of the Dance.

「無死聖度母心要」是由蔣揚欽哲旺波於1855年所取出的心意伏藏,屬於長壽修持法,壇城主尊為白度母,與長壽佛(舞之主)雙運。

History

Jamyang Khyentse revealed the terma of Chimé Pakmé Nyingtik at his seat Dzongsar Tashi Lhatse in a vision of the three masters who attained the level of vidyadhara with power over life: Guru Rinpoche, Vimalamitra and Shri Singha.

Through its power and blessings, many masters, including the great Jamgön Kongtrul, have been able to remove obstacles. In fact, according to prophecies, the life of Jamgön Kongtrul would have had many obstacles, and he would not have lived very long, but for this practice of Chimé Pakmé Nyingtik.

The highly respected master Jamyang Khyentsé Chökyi Lodrö, in his biography, said that he received this transmission about ten times, and held this as his most important practice. It was also the main heart practice of Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, who completed all the required practices seven times in retreat. More recently, one of the main holders of this practice was Kyabjé Trulshik Rinpoche, who every year spent at least a month in retreat practising Chimé Pakmé Nyingtik at Maratika cave in Nepal, the place where Guru Rinpoche accomplished the level of a vidyadhara with power over life.


在蔣揚欽哲旺波於淨相中見到三位證得無死持明果位的上師:蓮師、無垢友(毘瑪拉密札)和師利星哈(吉祥獅子)之後,便於自己的法座宗薩寺取出了「無死聖度母心要」伏藏。


藉由此法的力量和加持,包括偉大的蔣貢康楚在內,許多大師都因此遣除了障礙。事實上,依據授記,蔣貢康楚仁波切的壽命應會有許多障礙,且不會非常長壽,但由於他修持了「無死聖度母心要」,故而能得以長壽。


蔣揚欽哲卻吉羅卓這位極受敬重的大師,在他的傳記中提到,他曾領受此法的口傳大約十次,並將之視為自己最重要的修持。這也是頂果欽哲仁波切的主要心意修持,他曾於閉關中完成一切所需修持共七次。此法較為近期的主要持有者之一,則是怙主初璽仁波切,他每年都在尼泊爾瑪拉帝卡洞穴中,閉關修持「無死聖度母心要」至少一個月,而該處即是蓮師成就無死持明果位的地點。

It is a briefer version of the root sadhana called ‘The Wisdom Light of Enlightened Activity’ (Wyl. phrin las ye shes snang ba)

「無死聖度母心要」日修儀軌,藏文字義為《無死聖母寧體‧日常瑜伽‧同一手印》,是蔣揚欽哲旺波於1855年所取出的心意伏藏儀軌,屬於長壽修持法,壇城主尊為白度母,與長壽佛(無量光佛)雙運。此簡軌的根本儀軌為《佛行智光》(字義:證悟事業的智慧光)(法護法師譯名:無死聖母寧體根本成就事業智慧現分)。
