Subdivisions

• 二障 two obscurations:煩惱障 emotional and 所知障 cognitive
• 三障 three obscurations, if 習氣障 habitual obscurations, an extremely subtle form of cognitive obscurations, are added to the previous two
• 四障 four obscurations: if 業障 karmic obscurations are added to the previous three obscurations
