Naropa

Nāropa or Nadapada or Abhayakirti (Tib. ནཱ་རོ་པ་) (956-1040)[1] was an important master in the Kagyü tradition. A disciple of the mahasiddha Tilopa and a teacher of Marpa the translator. He is also counted among the eighty-four mahasiddhas. 噶舉傳承的重要上師之一。大成就者帝洛巴的弟子之一,馬爾巴譯師的上師之一。也是八十四大成就者之一。
