Gekkö 糾察僧，俗稱「鐵棒喇嘛」

Gekkö (Wyl. dge bskos) — the master of discipline who ensures that monks uphold their vows and inspires all practitioners to virtue. It is one of the three principle positions in a monastery, with the umdzé and chöpön positions.
