Negation (Tib. དགག་པ་; Wyl. dgag pa) is defined as "realizing through a process of mental preclusion" (blos rnam bcad du rtogs par bya ba).
Subdivisions
- implicative negation, or negation of identity (མ་ཡིན་དགག་, ma yin dgag)
- nonimplicative negation, or negation of existence (མེད་དགག་, med dgag)
