Lotus family 蓮花部

The lotus family (Skt. padmakula; Wyl. pad ma'i rigs) is one of the five buddha families. It is the family to which Amitabha, Avalokiteshvara and Guru Padmasambhava belong. It is also the buddha family with which human beings are associated.
