It is a chronicle of events surrounding the reign of [[King Trisong Detsen]], the founding of [[Samyé Monastery]] and the famous [[Samyé Debate]]. According to the Great Dictionary, it is also known as the 'Inventory of Samyé' (''bsam yas dkar chag'').
