'''Shakyadevi''' (Tib. [[ཤཱཀྱ་དེ་ཝི་]]) — the daughter of the Nepalese king Punyedhara and one of [[Guru Rinpoche]]'s [[Five principal consorts of Guru Rinpoche|five main consorts]].

Since her mother died during her birth, she was abandoned in a [[charnel ground]] and brought up by monkeys. Having later been accepted as [[Padmasambhava]]'s companion, she became his consort for the practice of the nine divinities of [[Vishuddha]] at [[Yangleshö cave]], where they both attained the level of [[Mahamudra vidyadhara]]. Shakyadevi attained the accomplishment of the female buddha [[Mamaki]] and finally achieved the indestructible [[rainbow body]].<ref>Rangjung Yeshe glossary</ref>
