'''Khenpo Yönten Gönpo''' ([[Wyl.]] ''mkhan po yon tan mgon po'') also known as '''Khenpo Gönri''' (1899-1959) — an important [[khenpo]] of [[Dzogchen Monastery]] who was one of the main disciples of [[Khenpo Shenga]] and also a student of the [[Fifth Dzogchen Rinpoche]], [[Kunga Palden]] and many other great masters. He was a teacher of the [[Sixth Dzogchen Rinpoche]], [[Alak Zenkar Rinpoche]] and [[Tulku Kalsang]]. He passed away in 1959, shortly after the Sixth Dzogchen Rinpoche. His writings include a famous commentary on ''[[Chanting the Names of Manjushri]]''.
